The architecture led the design. Inspired by the English and French character of this residence, we developed a mosaic composition in direct dialogue with the home's own language — then engineered it around the pool's plumbing infrastructure, so the layout remained uncompromised beneath the surface. What appears to be a flat floor is an illusion: we applied water magnification formulas to ensure the concave floor reads as a perfect plane beneath water. Our methods trace back to the Byzantine era — in approach, in technique, and in the standard of installation applied. Designed, manufactured, and installed entirely by Mosaicist.
